Tour Details

Huarapasca is a snowy mountain located in the southern part of the Cordillera Blanca, it’s surrounded by little explored mountains such as Tuco, Challhua, Caullaraju, Juchuraju, among others. Huarapasca is a mountain that offers an accessible and fun experience for those who wish to do technical wall climbing because it doesn’t present great difficulties.

Huarapasca has 3 slopes of 60° – 65° which makes it ideal for gaining experience in ice climbing technique. Also, it’s an excellent mountain to acclimatize and prepare before an expedition of higher technical complexity. Its summit is very nice, with a great visual domain with views of Cordillera Blanca, Cordillera Huayhuash, Cordillera Negra and Cordillera Raura.

Huarapasca peak has become popular among climbers who wish to gain experience in ice climbing because its access is quick and short.

No doubt Huarapasca will give you a great climbing experience until reaching the summit.
